Kinloch Wilderness Retreat is just a 26 km scenic drive from Glenorchy, through ancient beech forests and lush alpine valleys, as accessible as it is out-of-the-way. Whether you’re here to relax, enjoy the many day walks (we offer transport between the Routeburn and Greenstone/Caples tracks), looking to enjoy a delicious meal in our café / restaurant, or heading out on one of our kayak trips, Kinloch Wilderness Retreat can be your outpost in the wilderness. We have a variety of accommodation types for up to 57 people, a self-catering area, lounges, a yurt for yoga, hot tub use included, e-bikes, e-motorbikes and fishing rods for hire, as well as our new wai area with large spa pool and infra-red sauna. All accompanied by stunning lake and mountain views.
